As part of the “Cultural Week 2023”, theCommunity of Communes of Grand Autunois, THECrédit Agricole Centre-Est and theAuxy town hall co-organize a double exhibition: in fact photographs of thePhotoClub Creusot as well as aerial images from the photographerJean-Claude Mallet will enhance the presentation of unpublished works by Raymond Rochette.

For 70 years, he painted everyday emotions: scenes from the lives of the people around him, emotions brought by Morvan nature, particularly on the Antully plateau, the village in which he taught in 1944.

But above all he is the painter of the impressive metallurgical factory where man, tiny in this metal universe, dominates the enormous machines.
